Banning him is the correct thing to do but he also should face a jail term. The truth is all racing should be banned it causes harm to many animals not just Greyhounds but horses too.

Not only should he be banned from racing, but he should also be arrested and jailed for animal cruelty. The crime — and yes, it’s a crime — should not go unpunished and banned from racing does not seem commiserate with the crime. Are there no animal cruelty laws in Australia?

A similar crime happened years ago at a Florida track where numerous greyhounds were suffocated with duct tape and that guy went to jail and rightly so.
